I am deeply devoted to my family and my nursing career. I am a medical enthusiast, collecting vintage medical texts and tools. I adore creatures of all kinds—except for spiders! I’m married to the love of my life, together we navigate a blended family of seven, actively raising the 3 youngest boys. We have a dog, 2 cats and a ball python. We spend time as a family recharging and connecting and fishing on our lovingly restored 1970s Hourston Glasscraft, named 'The Beast.' I also ride a matte black Sportster Iron 883 Harley Davidson. Traveling is one of my greatest joys, as it fuels my creativity and inspires my work.
My artistic journey began at just five years old when I would transform empty toilet paper rolls into 'bride and groom' dolls, igniting my lifelong obsession with love stories. My passion for photography blossomed under the guidance of my stepfather, a photographer whose camera was ever-present during our adventures. In those moments behind the lens, captivated by the art of finding new angles and fresh perspectives to encapsulate love, my anxiety quieted and I felt at peace.

The heart of my passion came in 2006 when I faced an unimaginable loss: my little brother took his life at just 18 years old. In the wake of that tragedy, we were left with a box of photographs filled with images of our cherished memories and connection to him, those photos became my solace. This experience instilled in me the importance of capturing images that evoke emotion and withstand the test of time. I strive to create images for you that will hold the same significance in the years to come.
Creating a safe space for my clients to express their true selves is paramount to me. I believe in fostering genuine emotions and capturing unique stories through timeless images that resonate with life’s authentic tones.
I thrive in natural light and feel most at home in nature. Our sessions will be filled with laughter, joy, and playfulness, resulting in images that transport you back to those moments whenever you look at them. I deeply value hard work and the importance of showing up for others. My experiences with pain and loss, have taught me empathy and the significance of genuine connections. I truly care about the people I work with, and I pour my heart and soul into my craft.
